Business Transformation Officer – Fixed Term

About the role

The Business Transformation Officer will partner with colleagues and stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate business requirements into effective IT solutions. Reporting to the Deputy Country Director, the role leads the Country Technology Team and works closely with UN agencies and partners to support WFP’s mission in Rwanda.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, analyse and document business requirements using diagrams, flowcharts, data models and user experience designs.
• Communicate requirements to business counterparts to ensure shared understanding and successful implementation.
• Baseline and track requirements through implementation, managing change efficiently.
• Test IT solutions against documented requirements for quality and accuracy.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities.
• Manage the IT service catalog, including current, retired, and pipeline solutions.
• Align IT service levels with SLAs and conduct business satisfaction surveys.
• Oversee estimates, business cases, planning, risk identification, change management, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and advisory skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading technology teams and collaborating across UN agencies and partners.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.
