Voice Assistant Research Participant (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for individuals to take part in a short‑term research study focused on voice assistants. Over the course of one week you will make a few phone calls to a voice‑assistant system, ask real‑life questions and provide feedback to help improve the technology.

Key responsibilities

• Make five phone calls to the voice‑assistant over approximately one week, each lasting 5‑15 minutes.
• Ask natural, unscripted questions covering topics such as health, work, education and everyday needs.
• Complete a brief feedback survey (about five minutes) after each call.
• Consent to recording and transcription of the calls for evaluation purposes.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old; a mix of ages, genders and locations is encouraged.
• Fluent in English and able to place phone calls independently.
• Preferably a feature‑phone user or a smartphone user with limited data access.
• Limited prior experience with voice assistants is a plus.
