About the role
Watu Africa is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive the growth of its Watu Simu asset‑finance solution. You will be responsible for expanding the dealer network, nurturing relationships, and ensuring strong field execution across an assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, recruit and onboard new dealerships to increase market coverage.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing dealers and Front Officers.
- Conduct regular field visits, route management and store coverage compliance.
- Deliver product, system and dashboard training to dealer owners and staff.
- Distribute branding and marketing materials to maximize product visibility.
- Monitor sales performance, portfolio health and credit conversion metrics.
- Analyze under‑performing areas and implement corrective actions through coaching.
Required profile
- Proactive, analytical and relationship‑driven mindset.
- Ability to achieve measurable sales targets in a dynamic field environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in dealer or field sales management is preferred.
