Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Afrah Tobacco & Cigarettes Co is seeking a full‑time Human Resources Specialist to join its Kabuga site. The role will support the business by managing day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and delivering effective employee services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Implement and monitor HR policies in line with local labour regulations.
• Manage employee benefits programmes and ensure accurate administration.
• Handle personnel matters such as conflict resolution, employee engagement, and performance tracking.
• Provide strategic HR support to improve workforce efficiency and alignment with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR operations and management, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour law compliance, and benefits administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
