Procurement & Contracts Coordinator – Rwanda

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Procurement & Contracts Coordinator to support its Rwanda program. You will help drive cost savings and ensure smooth contracting processes for high‑value goods and services that enable smallholder farmers to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tendering and contract execution, aligning with departmental procurement plans.
• Set 0‑6 month strategic targets, establish price baselines, and negotiate to maximise cost savings.
• Analyse annual spend, create a quarterly‑reviewed tender calendar, and conduct market research to boost competition.
• Oversee full contract lifecycles and Long‑Term Agreements, tracking price tolerances and managing change control.
• Conduct bi‑annual vendor evaluations, hold monthly supplier meetings, and develop performance improvement plans.
• Act as the primary liaison between external suppliers and internal procurement teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in procurement and contracts management.
• Proven ability to analyse spend data and negotiate cost‑effective agreements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience coordinating with suppliers.
