Senior Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the execution of construction projects in Rwanda. The role involves overseeing all on‑site activities, ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are met while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control human and material resources on the construction site.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality regulations and legal requirements.
• Monitor progress against schedule and budget, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Support the Project Manager in reporting and decision‑making.
• Optimize resource utilisation to maximise economic objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in site management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven leadership, communication and results‑oriented planning skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on different sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Ability to use MS Project for scheduling.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
