Senior Recruitment Officer – HR Partner

About the role

The Senior Recruitment Officer will act as the primary recruitment partner for Africa Global Logistics entities, supporting the AGL Expertise Center in delivering high‑quality talent acquisition services across multiple countries. Reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader, the role collaborates closely with HQ Recruitment to ensure alignment with group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from planning and candidate sourcing to interviews, assessments, and offer coordination using the A'Career Recruitment ATS.
• Maintain and update the approved recruitment agency database, tracking submissions, ownership, and status in line with SLAs.
• Develop and supervise talent pools for strategic and recurring roles, ensuring data quality and proper categorisation of unsolicited candidates.
• Oversee candidate management processes, validate shortlists, and advise hiring managers on suitability.
• Administer and interpret the SOSIE 2 personality assessment for selected candidates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end recruitment, preferably within logistics or transport sectors.
• Strong ability to coordinate with recruiters, hiring managers, and external partners across different countries.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on data accuracy and compliance.
• Experience managing agency relationships and talent pools.
