Treasury Accountant

About the role

The Treasury Accountant will manage ContourGlobal's treasury operations in Kigali, ensuring efficient liquidity management, accurate cash flow forecasting, and compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash management and optimisation, preparing detailed cash‑flow forecasts.
• Prepare and present regular treasury reports covering cash position, liquidity status, receivables and financial risks.
• Ensure payment instructions are complete, accurate, authorised and supported.
• Negotiate foreign‑exchange transactions with banks to obtain optimal market rates.
• Post all bank and petty‑cash transactions in SAP using the correct transaction codes and workflows.
• Coordinate payment runs with the accounts‑payable function.
• Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain strong bank relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Review banking costs, monitor account covenants and ensure compliance with Treasury’s Bank Account policy.
• Develop knowledge of corporate bank products and advise the business accordingly.
