About the role
The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for our operations in Rwanda, ensuring effective talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with local labour laws. This senior role partners with management to drive a positive workplace culture and support business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies, manage end‑to‑end hiring processes, and oversee onboarding and orientation.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and promote engagement while ensuring compliance with company policies and Rwanda labour regulations.
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, support managers in setting KPIs, and oversee talent management and succession planning.
- Identify training needs, design and monitor learning programs, and support leadership development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records, prepare HR reports, manage leave, attendance, payroll inputs, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, update HR policies, support audits, and safeguard confidentiality of employee information.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional HR certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR management, covering recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of Rwanda labour laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment is advantageous.
