Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – International NGO

About the role

Partners In Health – Rwanda (Inshuti Mu Buzima) is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership for its programs in three rural districts. The CFO will ensure sound financial management, resource stewardship, and support the organization’s long‑term sustainability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance department and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization’s mission and growth objectives.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with donors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and risk management activities.
• Support the Executive Director and senior leadership in strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior finance leader (CFO or equivalent) in an international NGO or similarly complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting standards for NGOs.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and accountability.
• Passion for global health and social impact.
