Accounts Receivable Clerk

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team at Marriott International in Kigali. The role focuses on accurate processing of invoices, payments and financial records while supporting the month‑end closing process.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper coding.
• Maintain and organize files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with company policies.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information and keep electronic spreadsheets up to date.
• Classify, code and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers or computer systems.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant accounts receivable or finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
